We Are Back So We Need A New Site

We Are Back So We Need A New Site

Our aircraft interior consulting business came to a screeching halt in May of 2011 because of a surprise illness.  After a month and a half in the hospital  - which included two surgeries and 8 days on life support in a coma - well I just figured that our business was over.

And when I realized that it would take about a year to recuperate - well I just never thought that I would get the consulting business back up and running.

So I got into online marketing and building blog sites - in order to market other peoples products.  And I really do love that.  How ever - last week I got a call from a friend in the aircraft interior business.  So long story short - I helped him out.  But - I realized that I am not done with aviation after all.

But the question is - how do I get the business going again?

Build The Site And They Will Come

And then it dawned on me - I build sites to market other peoples products - so why not do this right and build a new site to promote the business.

Now you may be thinking that this site that you are on right now should be good enough right?

Well not if you want to be found every time someone wants to know about an aircraft interior related subject.  And of course - you have heard about location, location, location.  Well it's the same way with the internet.  You need to be in the location where the visitors are asking the questions.

So we have created a brand new site called Aircraft Interiors.biz. And the great thing about our new home is that it is a self hosted site.  That means we can load it up with videos and resources that we just can't do on a site like this.

And so it is necessary to not only make the decision - but it is time to get er' done!

Sure it will be a lot of work - but with what we have planned so far - well I think it will be awesome.

So come on over and check us out.  Yeah it is brand new right now - but it will shape up really quick over the next week or so.

Come on - let's visit the new site right now by clicking on Aircraft Interiors.biz.

Aircraft Interior

Aircraft Interior

We just started a new blog called Aircraft Interior.  It will be more appropriate to share our many years of aircraft interior knowledge......on that site......with all sorts of aviation professionals who need to find this kind of information, for their aircraft.

Now in previous posts I had mentioned that I would probably be stepping away from aviation.  Well seeing that I have yet to find a good enough job to stay in aviation.....I have turned to blogging.  And I have built quite a few blogs......but the aircraft interior blog allows me to reminisce and share what I have learned.

So there you have it.....a long drawn out way of saying that I changed my mind.....LOL!

What to expect from the New Aircraft Interior Blog

Well we plan on covering all sorts of interesting topics....and maybe a little different then what you would expect.  Obviously there are things about the aircraft interior that is so commonplace.....well why should we even bother talking about things that everyone knows already.

But there are a lot of things that I ran into as a consultant, things that happen behind the scene that even I have been surprised about.  So I feel that things that are unique or less common place....and yet very relevant, would be very interesting to our readers.

So we will try and bring to you.....the information that you really should know.....but maybe you actually never thought of before.

And the New Aircraft Interior Blog should show you how to save money too!

Now I learned a lot over the years on how to save my clients a lot of money.  In fact with my biggest client....I spent about 8 or 9 years with them and at the very minimum.....I saved them over 4 million dollars.

So  I am pretty sure that we can show you how to save some money by becoming a regular reader of the New Aircraft Interior Blog.  Because in my mind.....saving money is what makes us.....as aviation professionals....more valuable!

Now that doesn't mean we ignore safety when we think of the aircraft interior.  And it doesn't mean we should even dream of skimping on quality for the aircraft interior.

Nope....it means we think and work smarter.  And that is what we hope to share with our readers on a regular basis at the New Aircraft Interior Blog.

So come on over and visit the New Aircraft Interior Blog!

Of course the site is brand new so you will have the great opportunity to watch us grow and blossom.  But do have a little patience during the first couple of weeks.

And we sure hope that every time you come by and visit our humble Aircraft Interior blog, that you leave being a little wiser as it pertains to the inner workings and behind the scenes activity that happens to create that aircraft interior.

Oh and let's not forget the proper care and maintenance that should take place....to keep the aircraft interior looking fresh for years.  We will also cover that too!

So come on by and visit us at the New Aircraft Interior Blog by Clicking Here !

Secret Back Door Key to Training

I found a Secret Back Door Key to Training for anyone who has ever thought of having their own online home business.  And I have used this training for years to build various websites and blogs.  Not only is it the best in my opinion.....it's apparently FREE.

You see I had access to the training because I had purchased a web site from these folks.  And I have had great success with the training.  Let me give you an example.

I had built one website that was basically an online shopping mall.  Well technically I really messed up but I still got a great traffic score.

So not bad for a mistake.  Well I had gone on a trip to a completion center and the sales guy was bragging about their new website.  Truth be told.....it was beautiful!

But I asked him to go to a site so we could see what kind of a traffic score it had.  You can do that with your site also by going to Alexa and download their web score toolbar.  That will show you what the traffic score is for any website.  It's actually fun looking at beautiful websites and see how bad they perform.  And then find some plain Jane site that dominates the same market.

Anyway he looked up their site and it stunk!!!!  So then we looked up my messed up shopping mall.  And it blew them a way.  Why?  Because I had used this training that I am talking about.  The training teaches you exactly how the internet search engines work and what it is looking for.  So.....you get more traffic.

That really made me feel great about my site....but then I thought....what would happen if I took this training and built the next site the right way.  Well I did another site and it was on aircraft interiors.  Duh right?

Well to make a long story short, I dominated the search result pages....and not just one page....I dominated the first two pages...and a lot of the third page.  Funny thing is....that page was always dominated by a very big company.  And I blew them off the pages.  So I know first hand how valuable this training is.

I later lost that website when I got sick and ended up being disabled for about a year.  So now I am rebuilding and building new blogs and websites.  But once you learn this training....it's like riding a bike.  You just get right back into it!

Anyway I was actually going over some things last night and I found a secret back door key.  But this key allows people to get the training I got with my site....but they get it for FREE.

Here is how it works.  Ever hear of Amazon.com.?  Of course you have.  Well if you went to their site and scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the page you will see a link that says affiliates.  An affiliate is sort of a marketing partner or rep.  If you were an affiliate with Amazon and you took one of your links and let's say you put it on your email signature.  And maybe that link was to a book or video that you liked.  If someone clicked on that link and bought anything....well Amazon would send you a check.

That check would be an affiliate referral commission.  And they cannot charge you to be an affiliate!!

So this company that I had bought my site from also has an affiliate program and you guessed it....it's free.  So if you became a free affiliate for this company, you  then get access to all of the training and educational materials for FREE.

It's that easy and it is legitimate.  They cannot charge you to be an affiliate.  So now if you took your affiliate link and shared that with someone who wanted to have their own online home business someday....and they clicked on it so they could get the training for free....they would be one of your affiliates.  and some day if they decided to buy a website for their online home business, well you would get a check for about $75.00.

Or they could use the training and start a FREE blog....with that FREE training.....and maybe go from being unemployed to being self employed!!

That's not only crazy...that is so cool.  What a great way to help someone that is unemployed.  They could have a FREE online home business from the FREE training they got.  And if they shared their affiliate link with other people who also wanted an online home business of their own some day......and they ever bought a website....your unemployed friend would get a check for $75.00.

AND....when that person who bough the web site renewed their subscription....your friend (or you) would get a check again....and then again....and again.

Crazy stuff!  Anyway check it out.  Go to Key To Back Door for FREE Training and then when you are done....share YOUR link with folks that you know who want to have their own online home business some day.  And especially if they are unemployed!!!  Help them become self employed!!!

Need a new job?  Maybe a change in career?

Sometimes the financial climate requires us to re-think our careers.

Well for us that time has come.  And for many of our friends in aviation, that time may be approaching as well.

For us we had to make some changes.  I have explained what we are doing on the Welcome Page and there is no need to repeat it here.

The Winds of Change

The Winds of Change are sweeping through our industry.....especially if you are a baby boomer in the aviation business.  Or any industry for that matter.

Well for the last few months we have been noticing so many of our fellow aviation professionals speaking of extended unemployment or being in a position that is much less than what they are accustomed to.

And after much thought and exploring alternatives, we have decided to do something about it.

So the winds of change can be bad at times........but many times it brings good changes as well.

Without going into exactly what we are exploring at this time......let's just say that if you are struggling in this industry like so many of your fellow professionals.......you may want to keep an eye on our site for some new changes that will be coming soon in the next month or two.

So......come on back soon and see what we are up to!

See you then........

Private Jet Business

This week a fellow member of the Business Aviation Network group, of which I am a member of on Linked In, posted an article on Private Jets.  You may be interested in reading the article yourself and if you are, here is the link..... Private Jet Business Prepares to Take Off .

I posted a comment after I read the article and I have posted it below for you as well.

As our country becomes more deeply involved in the new "class" war, which stems from Washington, D.C. and is now trickling down through the masses.......it certainly doesn't help with understanding the real usefulness of the "private" or "corporate" jet. I was amazed when congress jumped all over the auto makers for having corporate jets. I would have thought that the congressmen would have been a little more understanding of the value of these time machines. Especially with major corporations that live in an extremely competitive field.

We live in a world where the global economy drives the very life blood of our countries economy and these time machines, or corporate jets, make it all possible. And substituting them for a commercial flight is not even an option in most cases.

This is most certainly the case for a US business, doing business in the Asian part of the Globe. I am reminded of a computer business man in Texas pulling up to a corporate jet in the late afternoon...taking off and doing his work on his computer, answering emails and using the Internet. He has dinner and goes to bed in the aircraft's stateroom. He wakes up, takes a shower, gets dressed and has breakfast. The airplane lands in China and off he goes to a meeting where he seals in a multi million dollar deal. He goes back to the airplane and takes off. He has dinner and then its off to bed again. He wakes up, takes a shower, has breakfast and when the airplane lands he is off to work again.....back at the main office.

Try and do that with a commercial flight. It just doesn't work. The productivity of the key decision makers and deal makers of our countries businesses.....which creates jobs for Americans.....is totally made more efficient because of these time machines.

But this message of the key role, importance of and the understanding of these "private" or "corporate" jets, needs to be made clearer with the general public and apparently our law makers as well. The economy of the US is in great need of a boost.....and until the problem of sustainable employment is answered, we will slide further behind other world economies that are growing.

The corporate and private jet is a tremendous tool to get things done and done more quickly. And the purchase, sales, completions and refurbishments of these aircraft creates more and more desperately needed jobs. And having an airplane with Internet connections, printers, conference areas, telephone service and TV........makes the aircraft an extension of the office. This offers the executive a non stop and productive work environment.

A commercial flight however is nothing but a waste of very valuable time. And in this economy, we need the advantage of capitalizing on the very precious commodity of time, when ever we can.

Thanx for posting the article, as I did enjoy it. But some how we need to get the general public educated and perhaps that would have to start in Washington, D.C. first.

Because it is obvious that the private and corporate jet are seen as toys and not tools. That perception needs to change!  (End of comment)

Working in this business has obviously given me a different perspective of private or corporate jets, than what the general public perceives.  In fact I can recall three business trips that really opened my eyes as to the value of a corporate jet.

The first trip I walked out of the hangar where my office was located and got on board a Lear 60.  We took off and flew to Baltimore, MD where I met with a client.  We picked out carpet, leather and fabric samples for an upcoming project, talked for a while and then I got back on board the airplane.

After what seemed like a very short flight I was back in Hartford, CT.  And....it wasn't even lunch time yet.

On another occasion I boarded a King Air 200 and we flew down to Virginia to discuss some upcoming interior work that we needed to have done on a couple of BBJ’s.  After a tour of the facility and a meeting with the owner of the facility, we returned to the airport and got back on the King Air.

On that day we had quite a good tail wind and our trip back was so fast.  I was shocked as to how fast that trip to Virginia turned out to be.  And I have taken similar trips via airlines, to destinations that were comparable.

And the final trip was the best.  I had been going back and forth from Hartford, CT to San Antonio, TX via airlines for several months and each one way trip was at least a half of a day.  And by that I mean I would leave at o’dark thirty in the morning and with the time zone change I would get to San Antonio around noon.  And coming back and crossing the time zone in the other direction I would leave San Antonio around noon and get to Hartford around 10 PM.

But on this occasion we walked out of the hangar and got on the airplane.  We flew in almost a perfect straight line back to Hartford and pulled up in front of our hangar and it was still day light.  The flight time was at least one hour less than the airline…..but….the environment along the way was totally different.  And.....no connecting flights, baggage area frustrations or airline security lines.

We actually got some work done…..had a snack or two…..walked around the cabin in our socks and it was a very productive flight.

Well in the corporate world…..corporate jets rule.  They are like time machines.  Productivity is maximized and everything that you need to continue doing business is right there at your finger tips.

Yeah there is a cost to it…..obviously….but when you consider the multi million dollar deals…or even billion dollar deals that results from some of these corporate trips…..it is so worth it.

And today in our economy…..we need more corporate airplanes going to work and capturing more commerce for the USA.

So in our opinion…..hurray for private and corporate jets!!!!  And of course….they need a functional and well planned interior!

Oh and P.S.......we obviously need the airlines and they do serve a tremendous purpose.  But in a fast paced business arena......nothing beats a corporate jet!

Be safe and see you back here soon!
